Polish renewables equipment wholesaler Menlo Electric and China's JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd have announced an expansion of their distribution partnership, targeting an additional 1 GW of solar modules over the next 12 months.
Under the agreement, spanning Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South Africa, Menlo Electric has integrated 1 GW of Jinko photovoltaic modules over the past three years. The company has emerged as the primary distributor of JinkoSolar products in the MENA region, ranked second-largest in South Africa, and positioned among the top three distributors in Europe, according to a press statement released on Friday.
In addition to commercial endeavors, the partnership includes collaboration on corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives through the Solar2Share Collective. Together, they have successfully established 15 solar stations totaling 400 kW at hospitals, schools, and kindergartens across seven countries.
