Elements Green, a UK-based solar and storage developer, announced today the approval of grid connection for a 30 MWp solar-plus-storage site in Lower Saxony.
The project, situated in Alfstedt municipality, aims to construct a solar power facility capable of fulfilling the annual energy demands of over 10,000 households.
Central to the initiative is a 400 MW/800 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), touted as one of Europe's largest. The BESS is poised to provide electricity to more than 1.7 million people for up to two hours.
Elements Green is actively advancing a development pipeline exceeding 12 GW, underscoring its presence with greenfield teams across the UK, EU, Australia, and the US.
