BayWa r.e. AG Acquires 46MWp Solar PV Park in Southeastern Romania

German renewables firm . AG has completed the of a 46-megawatt peak (MWp) solar (PV) park in southeastern Romania, as announced by law firm Filip & Company on Wednesday, which served as BayWa r.e Romania's legal advisor. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The newly acquired asset, known as the White Gate PV park, is situated in Constanta County within Romania's Dobruja region, near the border with Bulgaria.

Local reports indicate that the solar farm was sold by White Gate Industrial Park, a domestic company controlled by multiple local entrepreneurs.

BayWa r.e. AG operates globally as a developer, service provider, PV wholesaler, energy trader, and provider of energy solutions.

The company, majority-owned by German conglomerate BayWa AG, with a 49% stake held by a fund managed by Energy Partners (EIP), operates in 31 countries spanning , the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region.
