Vestas Secures 45MW Wind Turbine Order for Unnamed Project in Turkey

has secured a significant contract to supply and install ten V150-4.5 MW wind turbines for an undisclosed project in , marking a continued commitment to the country's renewable energy sector.

The agreement also includes a 15-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service agreement to ensure optimal performance of the turbines.

Levent Ishak, Vestas' Head of Turkey, highlighted the company's confidence in its portfolio's reliability and versatility, stating, “We believe that the reliability and versatility of our portfolio will continue to play a paramount role in Türkiye's energy transition.”

Turbine delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2025, with commissioning expected in the latter half of the same year. Vestas, which installed Turkey's first wind turbine in 1984, has since contributed over 2GW of wind capacity to the country's energy landscape.
