GF Corporation Joins IX Renewables in Taiwan’s Rui-Li Phase 1 Floating Offshore Wind Project

IX Renewables has announced a strategic partnership with Japan's GF Corporation for the Rui-Li Phase 1 Floating Wind Project in , positioning itself for the upcoming floating offshore wind tender. This initiative, anticipated to be officially launched by the Taiwanese government, aims to set benchmarks for floating offshore wind in the Taiwan Strait—a crucial step towards future commercial-scale tenders, all expected to adopt floating technology.

According to IX Renewables, partnering with GF Corp strengthens the project's potential to advance Taiwan's green energy objectives. “Teaming up with GF Corp enhances the project's ability to contribute to Taiwan's green energy ambitions,” IX Renewables affirmed.
