Indian engineering major Larsen & Toubro has secured a contract to construct a 185-megawatt grid-connected solar farm paired with a 254-megawatt-hour battery energy storage system (BESS) in Bihar district, India, the company announced on Monday.
Describing the order as “significant,” L&T estimated its value to fall between INR 10 billion (USD 119.8 million / EUR 111.6 million) and INR 25 billion, under its internal classification system.
