Avfuel's initial delivery of SAF, supplied by and branded as Neste MY Sustainable Aviation FuelTM, arrived on June 5 at Red Rock Aviation. This milestone allows general aviation operations at Sedona Airport to immediately access a cleaner fuel option, contributing to significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The ongoing supply schedule will ensure regular availability, supporting customers in advancing their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives.

The SAF blend, boasting one of the highest ratios in business aviation (30% SAF to 70% petroleum-based jet fuel), delivers a notable reduction of 19 metric tons of carbon emissions per 8,000-gallon truckload. This reduction equates to removing 4.5 passenger vehicles from the road for an entire year, underscoring the environmental benefits of transitioning to sustainable aviation practices.
