Belgian marine contractor Jan De Nul Group, in partnership with South Korea's LS Cable & System, has been awarded a contract to supply, install, and test three subsea cables for the Princess Elisabeth Island project off Belgium's coast. The 220-kV alternating current cables, totaling 165 km (102.5 miles) in length, will serve to transmit offshore
