The proposed Liasjon project is slated to be situated in the municipality of Osby and will consist of 10 turbines towering at 270 meters (885 feet) in height. Once operational, the wind farm aims to generate 225 GWh of clean electricity annually, sufficient to power more than 11,000 homes.
Eurowind Energy conducted consultations with local authorities and stakeholders in spring 2023, garnering significant support from the community. “About 67% of the residents in Osby have expressed a positive opinion on the environmental review of the proposed site,” the company noted.
