Vestas, a wind turbine manufacturer, has clinched a significant order from ImWind Erneuerbare Energie for a wind power project in Loidesthal, Austria, bolstering the country's renewable energy infrastructure.
The order encompasses the supply, delivery, and commissioning of 10 V162-6.2MW wind turbines and one V150-6.0MW turbine, along with a 25-year service agreement, underscoring Vestas' commitment to supporting sustainable energy solutions.
Christoph Manseder, Senior Director of Sales for Austria and Switzerland at Vestas, highlighted the project's strategic importance and the company's dedication to fostering collaboration:

The order serves as an extension of the existing Loidesthal wind project, which comprises eight V126-3.45MW turbines. Turbine delivery is slated to commence in 2025, with commissioning anticipated for completion in the first quarter of 2026, marking a significant milestone in Austria's renewable energy journey.
