Xuwen Dongsan Offshore Wind Power Project Gains Approval in Guangdong, China

The 500MW Xuwen Dongsan Wind Power Demonstration Project, a collaborative effort between and BASF, has been greenlit for development in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, .

According to sources, construction of the project is slated to commence within the year, with plans to integrate the offshore wind farm into the by the culmination of 2025.

Stakeholders anticipate that this initiative will serve as a pivotal contributor to BASF's efforts in transitioning its integrated base in Zhanjiang into a globally recognized exemplar for the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices within the chemical industry.
