Vestas, the Danish wind turbine manufacturer, has announced a conditional agreement for the supply of turbines for a significant offshore wind power project in Europe. The project exceeds Vestas' current disclosure threshold of 1GW and will be implemented in two construction phases.
Regarding the agreement, Vestas stated, “If and when the agreement translates into firm and unconditional orders, Vestas will disclose these in accordance with the company's disclosure policy.”
While the company did not disclose specifics such as the turbine model involved in the agreement, it signifies a notable advancement in Vestas' presence within the offshore wind energy sector.
