Trina Storage, the energy storage arm of Chinese solar panel manufacturer Trina Solar Co Ltd, has announced a significant collaboration with Pacific Green Technologies Inc to provide battery technology for several grid-scale energy parks across various jurisdictions.
In a press release issued on Friday, the parties revealed the signing of a letter of intent (LoI) for the deployment of 1,500 MWh of integrated energy storage solutions, featuring Trina's latest liquid-cooled energy storage system, Elementa 2, along with a power conversion system (PCS) and energy management system (EMS).
Jack Chen, Overseas Sales Director of Trina Storage, expressed the company's enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are honored to support Pacific Green once again and power their energy parks with our new generation energy storage systems.”
The agreement, formalized during the World Future Energy Summit held in Abu Dhabi, signifies a strategic alignment between Trina Storage and Pacific Green Technologies in advancing renewable energy initiatives worldwide.
