Project developer ABO Wind has successfully negotiated a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Groupe Pochet for the commissioning of its largest solar plant, with legal advice provided by Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) Paris team.
The agreement, facilitating Groupe Pochet's pursuit of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) roadmap and decarbonization plan, will see the solar plant operational by early 2025. It will support the construction of Groupe Pochet's first electric furnace dedicated to producing glass for the beauty industry by supplying it with green energy from the solar scheme.
ABO Wind, established in 1996 and present in 16 countries, has developed 5GW of renewable energy projects, half of which are operational. The company's development pipeline includes projects mainly in Europe, representing a total capacity of 21GW, with 4.7GW in the construction phase, including a significant portion from photovoltaic (PV) projects.
