Energy solutions provider Enery has recently finalized a 10-year virtual cross-border Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Hungarian brewery group Dreher Sörgyárak, a subsidiary of Asahi Europe & International. The agreement, effective from January 2025, outlines Enery's commitment to delivering approximately 14 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of certified renewable electricity annually to Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt.
This collaboration marks the second virtual PPA between Enery and entities within the Asahi Europe & International portfolio, highlighting a concerted effort to bolster renewable assets in Central and Eastern Europe.
Paolo Lanzarotti, Chief Executive at Asahi Europe & International, expressed the significance of the agreement, stating, “This latest agreement for Hungary marks another important step forward and a significant commitment towards our Legacy 2030 goal of becoming carbon neutral in all our breweries by 2030. Now more than ever, and together with our partners, we are committed to creating meaningful connections with people and the planet.”
