Greek firm Quest Holdings Group has successfully acquired a 4.48-MW solar PV plant situated in the Central Macedonia region of Greece, broadening its renewable energy generation capacity to a total of 39.3 MW. The acquisition was finalized for a total consideration of EUR 7.7 million (USD 8.4 million), as disclosed in a bourse filing on Friday.
Located within an industrial park in the municipality of Anthemion, part of the Pella regional unit in northern Greece, the newly-obtained PV park will be operated by Quest's subsidiary, Kynigos SA.
Quest Holdings, primarily known for its activities in the Greek IT market, is the parent company of Quest Group. The broader Quest Group operates across telecommunications, e-commerce, postal services, and the green energy sector through its subsidiary, Quest Energy. As of the end of September 2022, the energy business under Quest Holdings owned 24 solar PV assets, totaling over 34 MW across Greece.
This strategic move underscores Quest Holdings Group's commitment to expanding its presence in the renewable energy landscape, contributing to the ongoing growth of sustainable energy solutions in the region.
