DTEK Renewables Commences Pre-Design Activities for Poltavska Wind Project in Ukraine

has initiated pre-design activities for the Poltavska wind project located in . The endeavor, set in motion on October 26, was marked by the signing of a trilateral agreement involving the executive committee of the Hlobyne city council and a certified organization specializing in spatial planning.

The pre-design phase encompasses a comprehensive range of tasks, including engineering and geodetic surveys, as well as the formulation of a territory plan. Additionally, the initiative involves the preparation of an report and the execution of land management, land cadastre, and land valuation works. These endeavors are anticipated to reach completion by May 2024.

Oleg Solovei, Deputy Director of DTEK Renewables, expressed the company's forward-looking perspective, noting, “We are looking to the future, despite the war. We are deliberately and consciously going to this region because a large, energy-deficient power plant is very much needed here. Electricity from Poltavska WPP will give an impetus to more rapid development of the economy in Poltava and adjacent regions.”

Hlobyne Mayor, Stanislav Dzhus, actively participated in the signing of the agreement on behalf of the local community and expressed a keen desire for DTEK Renewables to successfully execute this ambitious project, ultimately contributing to Ukraine's energy self-sufficiency.
