UK-based subsea cable manufacturer, XLCC, has welcomed Paul Dickson as their newly appointed Development Director, a strategic move following the recent planning approval of their Hunterston facility earlier this year. With over 34 years of extensive experience in intricate design, engineering, and construction projects, Dickson's appointment comes at a crucial juncture for XLCC.
In his role at XLCC, Paul Dickson will place his focus squarely on optimizing manufacturing efficiency while harnessing the power of a digital strategy. This approach will seamlessly integrate construction and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) equipment, paving the way for cutting-edge project delivery.
Before joining XLCC, Dickson's illustrious career included over a decade at ISG, where he served as a senior leader overseeing the successful delivery of multiple large-scale projects across diverse sectors, including data centers, life sciences, and manufacturing. Prior to his tenure at ISG, he held a pivotal role in directing mechanical, electrical, and public health projects at Mace Major Projects Group.
