Vestas Secures 62 MW Order for Beuchte Wind Park in Germany

, a leading player in the sector, has recently received a firm order from Bürgerwind , a part of the Ebert Erneuerbare Energien Unternehmensgruppe, for the Beuchte wind park situated in Lower Saxony, . This development underscores the growing commitment to clean and sustainable energy solutions.

The order encompasses ten V162-6.2 MW wind turbines, which includes the entire spectrum of services from supply to delivery and commissioning of these state-of-the-art turbines. Vestas will further contribute to the long-term success of this project by servicing the turbines through a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, ensuring optimal performance throughout their operational lifespan.

The Beuchte wind park is strategically located in Lower Saxony, to the North-East of Goslar. Turbine deliveries are set to commence in the second quarter of 2024, with commissioning scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of the same year. This project represents another significant step in Germany's commitment to clean energy and a sustainable future.
