Vestas has clinched a firm order valued at 1,140 megawatts (MW) from Baltic Power. This formidable project represents a joint venture between Orlen and Northland Power and is set to transform the renewable energy landscape in Poland.
Under the terms of the agreement, Vestas will assume responsibility for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 76 cutting-edge V236-15.0MW wind turbines for the Baltic Power offshore wind initiative. The ambitious timeline calls for the delivery of these turbines to commence in the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected to be completed in 2026.

What sets this project apart is Vestas' commitment to its long-term involvement. Upon the successful completion of the installation phase, Vestas will undertake the servicing of these turbines for a duration of 15 years, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.
