Vestas, a player in wind energy solutions, has clinched a substantial 147MW order from SR Energy to supply turbines for the Horshaga wind project in Uppvidinge municipality, located in southern Sweden. This strategic agreement encompasses the delivery, supply, and commissioning of 20 V162-6.2MW and five V150-4.5MW turbines.
The timeline for this significant project is well-defined, with turbine deliveries set to commence in the first quarter of 2025, followed by the completion of commissioning in the first quarter of 2026. Upon project completion, Vestas will provide comprehensive servicing for the turbines through a 35-year agreement.
Anna Schlasberg Wachtmeister, Vice President of Sales for Northern and Central Europe at Vestas, expressed the company's pride in collaborating with long-term partner SR Energy on the Horshaga project.
