GoodWe Launches Polaris Solar Panels for Carports in Australian Market

Chinese company has unveiled its latest series of specialized solar panels, known as the Polaris panels. These cutting-edge panels are tailored for carport installations, addressing critical issues related to water drainage and electrical connections. The launch of these panels marks a notable advancement in solar technology, offering solutions that enhance safety and performance in the context of car parking and solar shading applications.

One of the standout features of the Polaris panels is their innovative design, which incorporates water protective slots to house the wiring. This design element serves a crucial purpose by eliminating safety hazards associated with exposed wiring. Additionally, these panels have been engineered to withstand static loads and extreme weather conditions, including the formidable forces of hurricanes. This resilience makes them an ideal choice for regions susceptible to adverse weather patterns.

The Polaris series boasts impressive specifications, with an output power rating of 550 watts and an efficiency rating of 20.4%. These panels have received certification from Germany's TÜV, a renowned authority in product quality and safety. Furthermore, they have earned a coveted spot on the Clean Energy Council's list of approved products, reaffirming their reliability and adherence to industry standards.

GoodWe's strategic approach to the Australian market is evident in its recent product offerings. Over the past year, the company introduced two other noteworthy building-integrated (BIPV) products. The first, known as the Galaxy panel, is a lightweight solution tailored for low-load roofs. The second, Sunshine Tiles, presents a solar tile option for those looking to seamlessly integrate solar technology into their roofs.

Solar carports have gained substantial popularity in due to their dual benefits of providing shade to vehicles and contributing to on-site generation. GoodWe's Polaris series now emerges as a customized solution for parking lots and shaded roofs, successfully overcoming the limitations of conventional panels in similar applications.
