German renewable energy developer Energiekontor has achieved a significant milestone by securing a spot in the TecDAX index while maintaining its position in the SDAX index. This development coincides with the upcoming review of the DAX index family composition by Deutsche Börse in September.
The TecDAX index is a benchmark that tracks the performance of Germany's 30 largest companies in the technology sector. Energiekontor's inclusion in this index highlights its growing presence in the industry.
Energiekontor's CEO, Peter Szabo, noted, “Last year, our inclusion in the SDAX was a recognition of our employees' hard work. Our continued presence in the SDAX and our recent admission to the TecDAX will enhance our visibility in the market.”
Szabo also outlined the company's growth strategy, aiming for an average annual increase of 15% in earnings before tax (EBT) and nearly doubling it by the end of 2028. Energiekontor remains committed to contributing actively to a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy supply as a player in the renewable energy sector.
The recognition from the capital market further motivates Energiekontor to continue its mission and strengthen its position in the renewable energy industry.
