Dajin Offshore, a prominent Chinese manufacturer, has recently solidified a series of agreements with various European sub-suppliers. These partnerships are aimed at procuring essential secondary components for the monopiles destined for the 1000MW Thor wind farm project, located off the coast of Denmark and developed by RWE.
The agreements encompass critical aspects of the project. Wulkan Shipyard, based in Szczecin, Poland, is set to deliver internal platforms for the venture. Meanwhile, ProCon Wind Energy, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, will provide electrical outfitting services, including installation. Furthermore, the concrete external working platforms required for the project will be supplied by the Polish subsidiary of Per Aarsleff A/S, Denmark.

These strategic agreements build upon Dajin Offshore's initial contract, inked in April 2023, which tasked the company with the fabrication and transportation of 36 monopiles, alongside secondary steel and electrical components destined for the Thor wind farm.
Dajin Offshore is not stopping at this milestone; the company has disclosed that it is actively engaged in discussions with other European suppliers. These dialogues aim to secure additional resources, including service cranes and boat landings, essential for the successful realization of the ambitious Thor wind farm project.
