PNE Group Secures Onshore Wind Projects in Germany’s Latest Tender Round

PNE Group, a prominent player in the sector, has emerged successful in the recent round of tenders for wind projects issued by Germany's Federal Network Agency. The company's wind power initiatives in Heidmoor and Bebensee successfully navigated the tender process, having already obtained their permits in the first quarter of this year.

In Heidmoor, a total of six wind turbines with a combined rated output of 36MW are set to be constructed. Similarly, in Bebensee, five wind turbines with a total output of 33MW will be erected. Both project locations are situated in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and are expected to commence operations in the coming year.

Expressing his satisfaction, Markus Lesser, the Chief Executive of PNE, remarked, “We are very pleased that we have once again secured contracts for all the projects we submitted for tender.” Lesser further emphasized, “The additional megawatts, totaling 69MW, will be integrated into our existing operations, thereby strengthening our position as an independent power producer.”

PNE Group presently manages a portfolio of 349.5MW of its own power generation. The company has set ambitious targets to expand its ownership of wind farms and solar parks, aiming to achieve a total installed output of 1.5GW through operational projects or those under construction by the end of 2027.
