Renantis, formerly known as Falck Renewables, and Ventient Energy have joined forces to establish a renewable energy developer with an impressive combined installed capacity of 4.2GW and an extensive 18GW pipeline. This collaboration, backed by institutional investors advised by the Global Infrastructure group at JP Morgan Asset Management, aims to create one of the largest renewable energy Independent Power Producers (IPPs) in Europe.
By merging their resources, the integrated business will solidify its position as one of the top five European onshore wind IPPs, boasting a total installed capacity of 4.2GW across 200 plants. Renantis and Ventient Energy operate a diverse portfolio of onshore wind farms, solar plants, and energy storage facilities across nine countries in Europe and the United States.

Impressively, the combined development pipeline of the two companies stands at a staggering 18GW. This pipeline comprises projects in onshore wind, floating offshore wind, solar PV, energy storage, and green hydrogen. The future organization will continue to offer tailored energy management, asset management, and technical advisory solutions, building upon their established track record of serving industrial and tertiary-sector clients at all stages of the value chain.
The integration process between Renantis and Ventient Energy has already commenced, with the expectation that the combined group will operate as a unified entity in 2024. The integration will unite over 750 employees from Renantis and 250 employees from Ventient Energy, providing them with increased scale, opportunities, and diversified expertise. This amalgamation will benefit workers, stakeholders, and shareholders alike.
Leading the new organization will be Toni Volpe, the chief executive of Renantis, who will steer the company toward its ambitious objective of constructing a business of substantial significance to both people and the planet. Volpe emphasizes the organizations' shared commitment to sustainability and the well-being of individuals.

Renantis currently possesses a capacity of 1420MW, distributed across nearly 70 renewable energy plants. Additionally, the company has an impressive project pipeline totaling 17GW, which includes 8.6GW of floating offshore wind projects in development, with 5.5GW in Italy and 3.1GW in the UK.
Meanwhile, Ventient Energy boasts an installed onshore wind capacity of 2.8GW. The company is actively involved in the development of wind and solar PV colocation projects in multiple sites in Iberia, and it possesses a further colocation development pipeline exceeding 1GW of solar PV capacity.
