The Correll Group has recently been awarded a contract by Asso.subsea to provide offshore pull-ins, termination, and testing services for Denmark's Vesterhav Nord and Syd wind farms. The contract, which falls under the group's Cable Installation & Power Services Division, encompasses a total of four export and 37 inter-array submarine cables, spanning over 70km in length.
Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord will collectively feature 41 Siemens Gamesa 8.4MW turbines, boasting a combined capacity of 344.4MW. Once fully operational, these wind farms are projected to generate an impressive 1.57TWh of green power annually. Such a significant energy output will effectively cater to the electricity demands of approximately 380,000 households in Denmark.
