The company said Richards brings more than 14 years of experience spanning commercial, legal and operational roles across the global energy sector, including offshore wind and subsea services. She has previously held senior positions at bp, JERA Nex bp and Vattenfall, where her responsibilities included operations and maintenance as well as performance management at the Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm.
In her new role, Richards will work alongside chief executive Kevin Jones to advance the company’s commercial strategy as it expands its global footprint.
“RTS Wind Group has built an impressive global platform, underpinned by technical expertise, delivery capability and strong customer relationships. I am excited to join at a time of clear momentum and opportunity,” said Alexandra Richards, chief commercial officer of RTS Wind Group.
“My focus will be on strengthening commercial discipline across the Group, embedding contracting excellence and aligning our commercial strategy with operational delivery as we scale,” she added.

“Alexandra’s appointment represents a significant step in strengthening our commercial leadership as we scale RTS Wind Group globally. She brings a rare combination of legal depth, operational insight and hands-on commercial execution across offshore wind and wider energy infrastructure,” he said.
