Tekmar Group has secured a contract worth more than €8 million ($X million) from an existing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) customer to supply subsea protection equipment for a major UK offshore wind farm, the company said.
The contract covers Tekmar’s 10th generation cable protection system and related ancillary equipment. Delivery is scheduled for late 2027, subject to a final investment decision on the wind project expected in early 2026.
Tekmar said revenue from the award will be recognised across its 2026 and 2027 financial years, reflecting the phased delivery schedule.
The company said the contract highlights its long-standing relationship with the customer and its position in the offshore wind supply chain, where cable protection systems are used to safeguard subsea power cables from damage.
“We are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with this customer through the award of another major project,” said Richard Turner, chief executive officer of Tekmar Group.
“This contract reinforces Tekmar’s position as the clear market leader in subsea asset protection, with our technologies protecting two thirds of the world’s installed offshore wind capacity,” Turner said, adding that the deal strengthens the group’s order book and provides longer-term revenue visibility.
Tekmar has increasingly focused on offshore wind-related technologies as developers expand capacity in UK and European waters, seeking to improve reliability and reduce maintenance risks.
