The Nordex Group said an international independent power producer has ordered 20 N149/5X onshore wind turbines for a 118-megawatt (MW) project in Poland. The company did not disclose the customer or the name of the wind farm.
Nordex said the supply contract includes a Premium Service Agreement with a term of up to 15 years.
The manufacturer has installed more than 600 turbines in Poland to date, totalling about 1.7 gigawatts (GW) of capacity. The group has deployed around 57 GW of wind power across more than 40 markets worldwide and reported sales of approximately €7.3 billion in 2024.
The company employs more than 10,400 people and operates manufacturing sites in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India and the United States. Nordex said its portfolio centres on onshore turbines in the 4-to-7 MW range, targeting markets with limited land availability and grid constraints.
The company did not provide additional details on the schedule for delivery or installation.
