FON Energy Services has been awarded a five-year maintenance contract for six Dutch offshore wind farms, the company said on Tuesday.
The contract covers Borssele 3&4, Borssele 5, Eneco Luchterduinen, Hollandse Kust Noord, Hollandse Kust West VI, and Prinses Amaliawindpark, which together have 303 turbines. FON Energy Services will provide above-water Balance of Plant inspection, repair, and maintenance, as well as below-water ROV surveys, starting in 2026, with some work commencing later when operations begin or existing commitments conclude.
The company said it will use innovative technologies and advanced methodologies to optimise performance, improve safety, and minimise downtime.
“The innovative mindset and proven track record of FON Energy Services align perfectly with our shared dedication to the transition to sustainable energy,” Eneco Head of Operations Remco Streppel said. “Bringing the contracts for these assets under one umbrella will allow us to reduce complexity, improve planning, and maximize operational synergies.”
FON Energy Services CEO Sindre Rhrich added: “We are grateful for the trust the owners of these wind farms have placed in us. With our pragmatic, ‘get-it-done’ approach and focus on innovation, we are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the success of these landmark projects.”
