JA Solar and Samsung C&T Ink 875MW PV Power Plant Module Supply Deal in Qatar

The PV Module Supply Agreement Signing Ceremony between JA Solar and Samsung C&T

recently signed a supply agreement to provide over 1.6 million DeepBlue 3.0 modules for 's largest photovoltaics (PV) power plant, the 875MW PV power plant project, at the C&T headquarters in Seoul, South .

The project, set to be built in Mesaieed and Ras Laffan Industrial Cities, is expected to begin operation in 2024 and aims to promote a shift in local energy structure and drive sustainable economic, social and environmental development.

JA Solar's DeepBlue 3.0, designed to increase customer value, is popular in the Korean market and was chosen for its high efficiency and reliability. It uses p-type Percium+ cell technology, Ga-doped silicon wafers, half-cell technology, and MBB technology to achieve excellent power generation.

Additionally, DeepBlue 3.0 holds the PV industry's first KS certificate for 182 modules, further emphasizing its power generation capabilities and dependable performance.
