Independent renewable energy service provider Full Circle Wind Services has named Phil Goleby as its new chief operating officer and statutory director, as the company advances its expansion across key European wind markets.
Goleby, who brings over a decade of experience in wind, solar, and energy storage, has previously held senior positions at Enercon, BayWa r.e., and SSWUK. His appointment comes as Full Circle continues to scale its operations, now maintaining more than 700 wind turbines across the UK, Netherlands, France, Italy and Greece with a workforce exceeding 200 employees.
As COO, Goleby will lead the implementation of the company’s strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and entry into new markets.
“As Full Circle continues to expand and evolve, Phil’s experience and strategic perspective will be key to shaping our future,” said Billy Stevenson, chief executive of Full Circle Wind Services. “His deep industry knowledge, strong understanding of the European market — particularly in Italy and the UK — and collaborative leadership style will be key to strengthening our position further in the wind energy sector.”
Commenting on his new role, Goleby said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Full Circle team at such an exciting time. It is great to see such a customer-focused environment in the renewable sector, and I look forward to helping drive the company’s growth and delivering impactful results alongside the team.”
The appointment aligns with Full Circle’s strategy to reinforce its presence in Europe’s growing wind energy market, as countries increase investment in renewable infrastructure to meet climate and energy targets.
