BnM and SSE Renewables will hold a public information evening on October 8 to present updated designs for the proposed 11-turbine Littleton wind farm in County Tipperary, the companies said on Monday.
The project, planned for Littleton Bog, includes a 110-kilovolt substation to connect the wind farm to the national grid. The latest designs have been refined based on feedback from previous consultations and environmental studies.
Visitors at the event will also have the opportunity to review a draft amenity plan, which features new walking and cycling trails alongside proposed access roads.
Laura Burke, project manager at SSE Renewables, said the event provides an opportunity for the local community “to view the refinements and meet with our project team to be able to discuss our proposals in further detail.”
Karina Dennigan, community relations manager at BnM, added: “We’re encouraging everyone in the community to come along and view the final layout for the proposed wind farm before the planning application is lodged in the coming months.”
The information evening will take place at Moycarkey Borris Community & Sport Centre in Ballybeg, Littleton, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
