Vestas (VWS.CO) has secured turbine orders totaling 133 megawatts (MW) across multiple regions, including Europe, the Americas, and Asia, as part of its third-quarter intake, the company said on Monday.
In Spain, an undisclosed customer placed an order for six V150-4.5MW turbines, amounting to 27 MW. Deliveries are expected in the first half of 2026, with commissioning scheduled for later that year. The order includes a long-term AOM 5000 service agreement.
Greek developer CNI SA selected a combination of five V135-4.5MW and four V136-4.5MW turbines for three projects—Maratzaki, Pyrgaki, and Koromilia—with a total capacity of 41 MW. The turbines are due for delivery and commissioning in the second half of 2026 and will be supported by a 20-year AOM 5000 service contract.
In Costa Rica, a 22 MW order was placed by an undisclosed customer for five V117-4.3MW turbines. These units are expected to be delivered and commissioned in 2026 and come with an eight-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
South Korea’s Youngduk Wind Power ordered seven V162-6.2MW turbines for the first phase of its 43 MW repowering project. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning to begin in the second quarter of 2027, backed by a 20-year AOM 5000 service deal.
