Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas said on Tuesday it has received orders totalling 320 megawatts (MW) in the United States as part of its third-quarter intake for 2025.
The company did not disclose the specific projects or turbine models involved in the latest deals.
The U.S. orders come amid a broader uptick in global activity for Vestas. Earlier this month, the company confirmed it had secured additional contracts in Germany totalling 180MW — including an 86MW order from WestfalenWind and a 94MW order from Energiekontor to supply various wind energy schemes.
Vestas also reported two orders in Argentina on 12 September, with a combined capacity of 217MW.
The latest U.S. contracts underline the company’s ongoing expansion in key renewable energy markets, although few details were provided. “The orders have been placed for undisclosed projects and turbine models,” Vestas said in a brief statement.
The company is expected to release further details of its third-quarter order intake later this year.
