Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received a 42-megawatt order from Alterric Deutschland for the Rastede wind farm in northern Germany, the company announced on Friday.
The contract includes the supply and installation of seven V150-6.0MW turbines, with delivery scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026. Commissioning is expected by the end of that year.
As part of the agreement, Vestas will also provide a 25-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service contract, aimed at ensuring long-term operational performance.
The deal adds to Vestas’ global footprint, which now exceeds 193 gigawatts of installed capacity, including more than 159 gigawatts currently under service.
No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed.
