Orsted, a renewable energy company, has entered into a contract with South Korean fabricator HSG Sundong Shipbuilding to provide foundations for the Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms, which have a combined capacity of 920MW.
During the signing ceremony, notable figures such as Danish Ambassador Svend Olling, Orsted Korea Country Manager Seung-Ho Choe, project development director Jonas Solhøj, and HSG Sungdong CEO Jinsang Lee delivered speeches.

In March, Orsted made the final investment decision (FID) for the Taiwanese project, with a targeted completion date set for the end of 2025. TSMC, a prominent semiconductor manufacturer, will be the recipient of the entire energy production from the upcoming wind farm.
