Germany-based wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group has secured new contracts totalling 135 megawatts (MW) for projects in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and France, the company said on Wednesday.
In the UK, Nordex will supply six N133/4800 turbines and seven N163/6.X models for two unnamed wind farms in Scotland, with a combined capacity of 75.7MW.
The company also confirmed its first order in Belgium for the N163/5.X platform, delivering two turbines for an 11.8MW project.
In France, Nordex will provide seven N149/5.X turbines totalling 39.9MW and two N117/3600 machines with a combined output of 7.2MW.
“All orders include service and maintenance agreements,” the company said in a statement, adding that deliveries and installation are scheduled to begin in mid-2026. Customer names and specific project locations were not disclosed.
“These orders reflect continued demand for our high-performance turbine platforms across multiple European markets,” the company said.
Nordex has installed 57 gigawatts (GW) of wind capacity in more than 40 countries to date.
