PEAK Wind has named Nicolaj Mensberg as its next chief executive officer, effective 1 August 2025, as the offshore wind services firm prepares for its next phase of expansion.
Mensberg will take over from co-founder and current CEO Michael Rask Andersen, who will transition to chair of the board. Andersen will remain actively involved in strategy, business development and client engagement, the company said on Thursday.
“Now is the right time to pass the baton and welcome fresh perspectives… I remain fully committed to PEAK Wind’s continued success,” Andersen said.
Mensberg brings experience across the renewables value chain, with a background aligned to the company’s focus on operations, asset management, and advisory services.
“I’m honoured to join PEAK Wind at such a pivotal time… I look forward to working closely with our clients to maximise operational value and drive the energy transition forward,” Mensberg said.
Board member Lars-Henrik Røren of Integrated Wind Solutions welcomed the appointment, saying: “We’re excited to welcome Nicolaj, whose leadership and experience will guide PEAK Wind into an exciting new era.
Founded in 2017, PEAK Wind provides specialist services to the offshore wind sector, supporting project development and operations across global markets.
