Ossian Offshore Wind Farm Limited (Ossian) has launched its brand, unveiling a new logo that evokes the project's relationship with the sea and its namesake, the Poems of Ossian. The logo and brand were designed by employee-owned creative consultancy Emperor, and were showcased at the official opening of Ossian's Glasgow office, where stakeholders from the offshore wind and energy industry were invited to celebrate the project.
Ossian is a joint venture between SSE Renewables, Marubeni, and CIP, with the ambitious goal of building one of the world's largest floating wind farms. Speaking at the event, David Willson, senior project manager for SSE Renewables, said that the branding reflected the partnership's innovative outlook and the scale of its ambition.

Tomoki Nishino, President and Chief Executive of Marubeni Europower, added that the launch marked an early milestone on the journey towards completion of a world-class renewable energy asset. Ossian development lead Holly Cartwright, from CIP, expressed excitement about the challenge ahead and the project's potential to play an integral role in the journey towards net zero.
The Poems of Ossian, after which the project is named, depict the epic quests and battles of a third-century Scottish warrior leader, following his adventures across rolling seas. With its new brand and logo, Ossian aims to become instantly recognizable as it progresses towards its goal of generating clean energy from floating offshore wind turbines.
