Stark Energie, a subsidiary of Stark Energy, has completed its first solar portfolio divestment in Germany, selling a 127 MWp solar portfolio to Greencells. The transaction includes a joint project development agreement between the two companies for three projects, which will be developed to ready-to-build status.
This partnership combines Stark Energie's experience in solar project development with Greencells' expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), as well as operations and maintenance (O&M) services, strengthening both companies in the German photovoltaic (PV) market.
Stark Energie, a developer focused on solar PV projects in Germany, is part of the UK-based Stark Energy Group. The company has developed projects with a combined capacity of over 1 GWp in the UK and Germany, with an additional 610 MWp currently under development in Germany.
Greencells, based in Saarbrücken, is one of Europe's largest providers of EPC and O&M services in the solar sector, with a portfolio exceeding 3 GWp of installed capacity.
