Renewables company Qair has secured two projects in Poland, with a combined power output of 200MW and an energy capacity of 800MWh. The projects, located in Kowala and Radkowice, aim to provide a stable and secure electricity supply to approximately 50,000 households, the company said.

The agreements, which span up to 17 years, represent the maximum duration allowed under Poland's capacity market mechanism. These long-term contracts reflect Qair's continued expansion in the energy storage sector.

In addition to its presence in Poland, Qair is developing energy storage projects in nine other countries, including , France, Spain, the UK, Italy, Romania, Montenegro, Iceland, and Greece. The company's storage portfolio currently includes nearly 8GW of power capacity, which will be capable of delivering up to 20GWh of energy.

Qair's strategic focus on energy storage aligns with its broader efforts to support integration and grid stability across multiple European markets.
