Greenvolt Group has announced the rebranding of its Irish subsidiary, Enerpower, to Greenvolt Next Ireland as the company aims to expand its capacity and support Ireland's green energy goals.

Previously known as Enerpower powered by Greenvolt, the Irish business will now operate under the new name as it sets its sights on achieving 1 gigawatt (GW) of renewable energy capacity by the end of the decade. The transition is part of Greenvolt's broader strategy to contribute to Ireland's goal of sourcing 80% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030.

Since its founding 20 years ago, Enerpower has been a key player in helping Irish businesses reduce their carbon footprints. The company has designed, installed, and maintained a wide range of renewable energy solutions, including solar installations, heat pumps, biomass boilers, and wind power systems. With over 700 completed projects and a signed capacity of 300 megawatts (MW), Greenvolt Next Ireland has already installed 160 MW of renewable energy capacity. Its client base includes prominent companies such as PepsiCo, Lidl, Pfizer, and Virgin Media.

João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group, expressed confidence in the future of the rebranded entity. “We are very pleased with what we have achieved following the of Enerpower, making this a natural and decisive step in reinforcing the Group's commitment to the Irish market. Ireland is crucial to our business strategy, and with a strong client portfolio and a management team driven by unwavering focus and ambitious goals to deliver renewable energy to Irish businesses, I am confident about the future of Greenvolt Next Ireland.

Owen Power, CEO of Greenvolt Next Ireland, highlighted the significance of the rebranding as the company marks its 20th anniversary. “This year marks 20 years since the business was founded and becoming Greenvolt Next at the same time makes this milestone particularly significant. I'm extremely proud of how the business has grown into a leading renewable energy company that is supporting Ireland's efforts to decarbonise industry,” he said. Power added that the partnership with Greenvolt Group has opened new opportunities for collaboration across Europe, strengthening the company's ability to help more Irish businesses reduce their carbon emissions.

The rebranding comes as Greenvolt Next Ireland looks to further expand its role in Ireland's renewable energy transition, with the aim of increasing its renewable energy portfolio and supporting the country's sustainability objectives.
