Soltech Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of the Soltech Group, has been chosen by CA Batteribalans to design, install, and commission a 28-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in southwestern Sweden.
The facility, located in Lerum, is expected to be operational by April 2025 and will participate in the ancillary services market.
CA Batteribalans is part of the CA Group, known for its expertise in commercial building envelopes and cladding. Soltech Energy Solutions has a proven track record, having developed BESS sites with a combined capacity exceeding 150 MWh. In November, Soltech agreed to sell the recently commissioned 11-MW Ramsjoholm solar park to Alight.
Soltech Energy Solutions focuses on the development, sale, installation, and optimization of solar energy systems as part of the broader Soltech Group.
