has awarded contracts for the construction of its first projects in , with Engie Astatine and TLI Group selected as partners.

Located in Galway and Limerick, these solar farms—Ardnadoman, Dromsallagh, and Rooaun—will deliver a total installed capacity of 18MWp, generating enough clean energy to power approximately 12,000 homes.

These sites are part of six solar projects, totaling 60MWp, awarded under Ireland's Support Scheme (RESS) 3 auction in 2023.

Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2025, with commissioning anticipated in the second half of that year.

Engie will also establish a community benefit fund for each site, contributing €34,000 annually to support local initiatives. This investment reflects Engie's broader commitment to sustainable energy development in Ireland.
