has won a contract to supply heterojunction (HJT) solar modules for a 1-GW offshore photovoltaic (PV) project being developed by Power China in Shandong Province, eastern China.

The N-type HJT modules will power the first two phases of Power China's large-scale project, Huasun announced on Thursday.

The offshore installation will be situated in Aoshan Bay and will feature Huasun's G12-132 V-Ocean HJT solar modules, which are the first in China certified specifically for offshore PV applications.

These modules are designed to withstand the marine environment, supporting the reliability and efficiency of the PV park.

Recently, Huasun also entered a partnership with Xinjiang Silk Road New Energy Co Ltd to drive research, development, production, and marketing of HJT technology. Under this collaboration, Huasun will provide more than 1 GW of HJT products annually, including silicon wafers, cells, and modules.
