's state-run utility has commenced construction on the 19.8 MW Bejsce wind farm in the Świętokrzyskie province, with plans to bring the facility online by 2025. The wind farm will feature six turbines, each exceeding 3 MW in capacity and standing at 202 meters tall.

During an inspection of the site, Enea CEO Grzegorz Kinelski confirmed the progress on the project. Enea's subsidiary, Enea Nowa Energia, acquired 100% of Farma Wiatrowa Bejsce from Sweden's Holding in September 2023.

The total transaction amounted to EUR 57.4 million (USD 62.5 million), which includes construction costs handled by OX2 and an acquisition price of EUR 3.5 million.

The wind farm is projected to generate approximately 65 GWh of energy annually, enough to meet the demand of about 20,000 households, according to Enea.

The company is focused on rapidly developing its portfolio, with Deputy CEO Bartosz Krysta noting that the Bejsce wind farm is among numerous such projects in the pipeline.

Enea aims to expand its renewable energy capacity to 2,000 MW by 2030. As of the end of 2023, Enea reported over 500 MW of installed renewable capacity in its annual report.
