Inc, a US subsidiary of Spanish utility , has successfully installed all modules at its 44-MW/55-MWp Camino park located in Kern County, .

The installation process, which involved mounting 105,000 photovoltaic (PV) modules, took approximately four months to complete.

Avangrid estimates that the Camino solar park will generate enough to power around 14,000 average US homes annually.

With module installation now finished, the company will proceed with work on the collector systems, electrical wiring, and commissioning activities, targeting a planned grid connection in the coming year.

The Camino park is situated on a mix of private land and over 200 acres of public land managed by the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

It is located adjacent to Avangrid's existing 189-MW Manzana wind farm, which has been operational since 2012. Upon completion, the Camino solar park will mark Avangrid's 10th solar project and its first operational PV facility in California, complementing its six wind farms already in operation in the state.
