Nordic private assets manager CapMan announced plans to install a 7,500 square meter (80,729 sq ft) integrated rooftop system at the Stationsparken property in Glostrup, Copenhagen. This project is expected to be the largest of its kind in .

The initiative will involve replacing the existing zinc roof with solar panels that will be integrated directly into the roof structure. The company Solartag will supply the solar panels and inverters for the installation.

With an installed capacity of 750 kilowatts-peak, the solar roof is projected to generate approximately 550,000 kWh of electricity annually, which is enough to power over one-third of the Stationsparken property, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 150 average households, according to Solartag CEO Mikkel Karlsson.

Renovation work is set to commence this month and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Other partners involved in the project include Hovedstadens Bygningsenterprise as the main contractor, WERK for architectural design, and Solar Lightning Consultants for advisory services.

Stationsparken, which offers 25,884 square meters of office space, is home to several government entities, including the District Court in Glostrup and the Danish Prison and Probation Services. CapMan acquired the property in April 2022.
